Life’s Passion

It is important to pay attention when God gives clues about His timing and plans.  That’s why I am holding back from my plan for a trip this August to Papua New Guinea, and going back to an original idea to take the trip next summer.

I truly appreciate the prayers and support of my friends and family.  Since the funds for this project are from my personal savings and nothing extra had been donated yet, it makes it much easier to put the project on hold.  I trust that in God’s time He’ll work those details out again and help me get where He needs me to go.

I am reminded today about waiting on God for His answers.  God’s plan and timing is perfect, and who am I to try to influence Him to move any faster or do things differently.  After seeing Him work in other areas, I’m also reminded of an article I posted on my blog, “Waiting for the last drip.”  I can’t wait to see how God will bless this trip.
